ROCAMBOLE - Medium Heat - Seed Garlic
French Rocambole has a distinctive buttery flavour, as well as sweetness yet is of medium heat. Ideal for any dish requiring a brief cooking time. While cured for longevity, this is a variety best enjoyed earlier than others, storing well for 5-6 months.
As seed, this variety loves extra attention. A nourishing fertilizer, well-draining soil, and keeping weed pressure down will be well-worth the effort for this flavourful garlic. 8-10 easy to peel cloves. Winter hardy and likes a cool spring, but doesn't love wet soils like dense clay.
